Med Publication – Author Guidelines

 

Med Publication welcomes submissions from researchers, clinicians, and academicians across all medical and clinical disciplines. These guidelines apply to both journal manuscripts and medical eBooks, ensuring a consistent, ethical, and high-quality publication process.

 

1. Scope of Publication

Med Publication publishes:

      I. Journal Manuscripts: Original research, reviews, case reports, short communications, editorials, perspectives, and letters.

     II. Medical eBooks & Monographs: Comprehensive works covering specific specialties, clinical techniques, translational research, or interdisciplinary medical topics. eBooks can include multiple chapters contributed by one or multiple authors.

All submissions must be original, unpublished, and relevant to advancing medical knowledge and clinical eBooks practice.

 

2. Submission Process

     I. Manuscripts and eBook proposals should be submitted via our online submission portal or emailed to the editorial office.

    II. A cover letter must accompany all submissions and include:

          -> Significance and novelty of the work

          -> Confirmation of originality and ethical compliance

          -> Disclosure of funding sources and conflicts of interest

          -> Suggested reviewers (optional)

   For eBooks, include:

       I. Target audience and scope of the eBook

      II. Tentative table of contents

     III. Sample chapters (1–2 chapters recommended)

 

3. Article and eBook Types

     I. Journal Submissions

         ->Original Research: Detailed reports of clinical or laboratory research

         -> Review Articles: Comprehensive analyses of current knowledge

         -> Case Reports: Unique clinical cases with practical insights

         -> Short Communications: Brief reports of novel findings

         -> Editorials, Perspectives, Letters – editorial discretion applies

   II. eBook Submissions

         -> Translational & Interdisciplinary eBooks: Bridging research and clinical application

         -> Comprehensive Medical eBooks: Covering single or multiple disciplines

         -> Clinical Technique Guides: Detailed step-by-step procedures

         -> Educational & Reference eBooks: For students, researchers, and clinicians

 

4. Manuscript and eBook Formatting

     I. Journal Manuscripts

         -> Title Page: Title, authors’ names, affiliations, and corresponding author’s contact info

         -> Abstract & Keywords: Structured abstract (250–300 words), 3–10 keywords

         -> Main Text: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion

         -> Figures & Tables: High-resolution images (≥300 dpi), clear legends, and tables with titles

    II. eBooks

         -> Optional supplementary material (videos, datasets)

         -> Chapters numbered and titled clearly

         -> Figures, tables, and images embedded appropriately

         -> High-resolution images (≥300 dpi)

         -> Each chapter includes its own references (Vancouver style recommended)

 

5. Ethical Guidelines

     I. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality for all submissions.

    II. Manuscripts and eBooks must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.

    III. Clinical studies require informed consent and IRB/ethics approval.

    IV. Authors retain copyright; all work is published under a Creative Commons Attribution License.

    V. Plagiarism, duplicate submissions, and data fabrication are strictly prohibited.

 

6. Peer Review Process

     I. Editors may request revisions prior to acceptance.

    II. Journal Articles: Double-blind peer review by experts ensures scientific accuracy and quality.

   III. eBook Chapters: Reviewed by subject matter experts for clarity, clinical relevance, and quality.

 

7. References & Citations

      I. eBook chapters may include individual reference lists.

     II. References must be complete and numbered in order of appearance.

    III. Standard scientific styles (e.g., Vancouver) are recommended.

 

8. Publication and Open Access

       I. Accepted works undergo final formatting and digital publication guided by the editorial team.

      II. All journal articles and eBooks are open access, maximizing visibility and impact.

     III. eBooks are published in PDF or ePub formats suitable for clinical and academic use.

 

9. Withdrawal Policy

     9.1 Before Peer Review

             I. Authors may request to withdraw their submission at any time before the peer review process begins.

             II. The request must be submitted in writing to acmcasereport@gmail.com, including:

                     -> Manuscript/eBook title

                     -> Author names

                     -> Reason for withdrawal

            III. Confirmation of withdrawal will be provided in writing.

     9.2 During Peer Review

             I. Withdrawal after peer review has started is discouraged.

             II. Requests must include a formal explanation and consent from all co-authors.

            III. The editorial office will review the request and communicate approval in writing.

    9.3 After Acceptance or Publication

            I. The editorial board will evaluate all such requests.

            II. Withdrawal after acceptance is permitted only in exceptional circumstances, such as serious errors or ethical issues.

           III. Withdrawal after publication is generally not allowed, except in cases of proven misconduct, plagiarism, or copyright disputes.

 

10. Refund Policy

         I. No refund is provided for withdrawals after peer review has begun, or after acceptance/publication, except under exceptional circumstances approved by the editorial board.

         II. Article Processing Charges (APC) or eBook fees are non-refundable once payment is processed, except in cases of duplicate payments or errors by the publisher.

        III. A 2% card processing fee (if applicable) is non-refundable.

        IV. Refunds for duplicate payments will be processed after completion of financial verification procedures.

 

11. Ethical Considerations

       I. Authors are expected to maintain professional and ethical conduct throughout the process.

       II. Withdrawals must not be used to submit the same work elsewhere simultaneously during review.

III. Misuse of the withdrawal process may result in restrictions on future submissions.
